Legalisation in Poland: residence card, resident status, CUKR, citizenship

The biggest problem — is not the procedure itself

You open the website of a Polish office and see dozens of pages, requirements and unfamiliar terms? You don't know which grounds to apply on, which documents are needed and what to do in your particular situation? You are not alone.

The problem starts when a person tries to figure it all out alone.

You need to understand:

  • which grounds suit you specifically
  • whether you can submit documents now
  • which documents are required
  • whether they are prepared correctly
  • which deadlines apply
  • what to do if your situation is non-standard
  • where and how to submit the application
  • what to do if additional questions or problems come up

One mistake or a badly prepared document can lead to extra costs, lost time and the need to put things right.

You don't need to study all the legislation yourself

We understand your main problem

You work. You have a family, children, a job and everyday matters. And you really don't want to spend hours after work reading Polish laws, instructions and forums, trying to work out whether you are doing everything right.

That is exactly why you turn to a specialist.

You tell us about your situation. We deal with it for you.

Don't want to risk your documents?

That is normal. In legalisation matters it is especially important not just to “fill in a form” but to understand why a particular document is needed and whether it fits your situation.

We help reduce the risk of mistakes and avoid wasting time on actions that may turn out to be unnecessary.

Legalisation is not something you should be dealing with every evening

You don't need yet another website full of information. You need someone who will help you work out what to do in your case.

Tell us about your situation — we will hold a consultation and help you define the next steps.

Frequently asked client questions

  • How do I get a residence card in Poland?

A residence card can be obtained based on work, business or for family reunification. We help determine the grounds, prepare the documents and go through the procedure.

  • How do I check whether I can get a resident card?

Before applying, it is important to check the length and grounds of your stay, your documents and other requirements. We hold a consultation and analyse whether you can apply for EU resident status.

  • Can I make a power of attorney at a notary in Poland?

Yes. You can make a notarial power of attorney and have the necessary documents certified. We will help determine which form of document your situation requires.

  • Where can I get a consultation on legalisation in Poland?

If you don't know on what grounds to legalise your stay, you can have an individual consultation. We analyse your situation and the possible legalisation options.

  • How do I get a CUKR card in Poland?

The CUKR card is intended for certain persons with UKR status moving from temporary protection to a special temporary stay. From 4 May 2026 the application is submitted electronically through MOS.

  • Can I exchange my driving licence for a Polish one?

Yes, in most cases a foreign driving licence can be exchanged for a Polish one if you reside in Poland and meet the residence requirement — at least 185 days in a calendar year.

  • What is the deadline for exchanging a driving licence?

If your licence was issued by a non-EU country, the exchange can be made once your right to reside in Poland is confirmed and the 185-day condition is met. For some foreign licences, a theory exam may be required.

Our company can check your licence and documents, determine whether it can be exchanged without an exam and which documents will be needed, and handle the procedure at the relevant office.

  • Can I obtain Polish citizenship through the President?

Yes, there is a separate procedure for the President of the Republic of Poland to grant Polish citizenship. Before applying, you can get a consultation and have your situation assessed.

    • Polish origin
    • marriage to a Polish citizen
    • family ties with a person who has Polish citizenship or permanent residence
    • certain cases related to refugee status, subsidiary protection or a stay on humanitarian grounds
    • other grounds provided for by law
  • Which documents are needed for Pobyt Stały?
